When you think of your wedding photos, you may not think of having any photos professionally taken before the ceremony, but these are always the photos that we look forward to starting the day with! We're counting down 5 reasons why you just may want to consider putting 'getting ready' photos on your wedding day photo list.

How often do you get to spend a morning with your favourite people, eating breakfast and drinking champagne, while having someone else do your hair and makeup? We're willing to bet this isn't your typical Saturday routine. Have someone else there to capture the small moments that make up your big day.

You've spent so much time choosing the dress, the jewelry, the flowers, heck you even bought each bridesmaid a personalized hanger from Etsy! When the wedding day is over, you may want to revisit those beautiful details from time to time. Having a photographer there ensures that every small touch you planned for this day is captured.

For how much planning goes into a wedding day, the day goes by incredibly fast. It's almost a whirlwind of activity until you get back to the hotel with your boo.
