R + J actually stands for Robin and Jenna, the girls behind the camera. We're sisters, but we're also best friends who happen to share a passion for capturing the beautiful moments in life. To us, there is no better feeling than getting that one shot, the one you know the family or couple is going to absolutely love. The one that shows who you really are.

 

We both got our start working in the same portrait studio, and after surviving many Christmas seasons together, we realized we actually make a really great team (if you've ever worked a Christmas in a studio you know your team is everything). We consider ourselves pretty lucky to be able to share our passion with each other.

We also both work full time jobs, and do this photography biz on the side. Robin is a department manager of a large retail chain, and Jenna is a mental health worker at a local non-profit organization. We come from a loud, obnoxious family, and we certainly aren't quiet either. We value family, friends, 90s movies, delicious food, coffee, and of course, creating memories that last a lifetime.
